VMA's - A LA Heats!!

Well thanks again to our reporter in the field, Ms. Heats, we were able to have some extra commentary on the VMA's...read on bitches..

1) Jack Black, love the guy, but not such a great host -they really need to stick with hosts with an SNL background - they're the only ones who do it right!
2) Beyonce...actually was a really good performance, but seems familiar. Hasn't she already done the whole lowered from the ceiling entrance before? The flail factor was also a bit much as well - but that wasn't too surprising per her "Deja Vu" video.

Best moments:
-During Luda and Pharrell's performance when the cameras cut to a straight-on shot of one of their backup dancers eating shit.
-X-Tina - always a winner in my book.
-All American Rejects - Any guy who is too drunk to compose a coherent acceptance speech gets a gold star from me.

Overall, there were not too many great moments at this show. No controversy, not catfights, no dissing, no people clearly pill-popping (yes Paula, this means you)...pretty "blah" all across the board. Kind of makes you miss the good 'ol days when Michael and Madonna were on top, doesn't it?
