Being engaged to a redheaded MIT student, I always thought I was the only one who got the whole nerdy is hot thing...heh heh heh. However, it seems to be the new trend. I mean, just look at Seth and Jim - how can you not love those boys?

And yes, they will always be Seth and Jim to me - ALWAYS!

Another year, more resolutions.... If you are like me, you want to travel more. See more of the world than the Los Angeles you see when you hike to the top of Runyon Canyon. The NYT published a list of 53(odd) places you should travel to in 2008. List includes places like MAURITIUS, ever heard of this one?? How bout HVAR? Never? Not only does this list give you a dose of what you are missing out on it's highly educational.

Too cold for cute crochet boots!!!

So when I was moving to Boston, I thought, Oh fun, cute sweaters and boots! Only, now that it's freezing, icy and slushy - I realize cute boots? Not so much. The boots above are super cute - only they would get soaked and dirty walking around here. Therefore, I am forced to wear huge bulky ugly north face kicks - oh how I miss LA - the land where ONLY cute shoes matter...

So all of you in LA - wear them in honor of my brief absence! Get them at Ugg - Classic Cardy.

Tim Tebow - first sophomore Heisman winner EVER!!!!

Say hello to your new Heisman winner, Tim Tebow. I personally think the decision was pretty easy - I mean, he plays for the gators and is compared to Chuck Norris daily - C'mon! Way to go, Tebow.

Don't be trashy this holiday season...

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, "the volume of household waste in the United States generally increases 25 percent between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day – about 1 million extra tons."

What can we do about this? How about you don't buy a bunch of pointless holiday cards that are going to be the exact same ones everybody else buys? Go Digital!!! Email away my friends - unless you are crafty enough to come up with something original that isn't just going to be tossed in the trash...

RIP Mr. Gatorade

J. Robert Cade, inventor of Gatorade, died at the age of 80 due to kidney failure. I'm just glad he was around long enough to formulate a drink to make the Gators the best football team ever! That's right you assholes - we are still officially the National Champs for a few more weeks...heh heh...
