Don Imus is now suing CBS for nearly $40 million stating breach of contract. CBS hired Imus to be controversial and even placed the following guidelines for his employment in his contract, "Imus' services were "unique, extraordinary, irreverent, intellectual, topical, controversial." The clause said Imus' programming was "desired by company and ... consistent with company rules and policy."
I actually hope Imus wins this. I mean, CBS hired him to say shit like that and now are trying to act like the good guys by firing him for what they hired him to do! They should be held accountable as well. Go Imus!!! Beat CBS!!! heh heh heh...
