R. Kelly just wrote a single titled "Rise Up", which he is dedicating to the Virginia Tech shootings. He is releasing the song online and donating 100% of the net proceeds to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund that was started by the school to provide assistance to victim's family and friends.
This is all sweet and philanthropical and shit, but it doesn't make me forget THIS R. Kelly that was charged with posession of child pornography and pissed on girls:
